1998 till date: Promoter and Director, Market Vision Research & Consulting Services FZ-LLC, base – Dubai. Market Vision is an established provider of consumer and business research, and marketing consulting services for local, regional and international clients that seek market knowledge in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, rest of the Gulf and MENA regions.

2007 till date: Promoter and Director, GRAS Education & Training Services Pvt Ltd, base – New Delhi, India. GRAS was set up with the objective of skilling youth in India to facilitate their employability, in industry and for self-employment. Till date, GRAS has skilled over 150,000 youth and has grown to be a leading player in the skills sector in India.

1982-1997: With The Taj Group of Hotels, on secondment from the Tata Administrative Service, last as Regional General Manager, Middle East. The Taj Group is India’s largest and oldest hotel chain, offering some of the finest 5-star luxury hotels in India and overseas, including the Taj Mahal Palace & Tower in Mumbai, Taj Downtown Dubai; several hotels are listed as Leading Hotels of the World.

Gautam is a Founder Charter Member and Past President of TiE, Dubai chapter, a worldwide entrepreneurship body; Member of the UN World Tourism Organisation’s Worldwide Panel of Tourism Experts; and is Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, London

Speaker Engagements

He has addressed various audiences at seminars in Dubai, on marketing subjects including branding and brand values, entrepreneurship; has been invited to speak at UN World Tourism Organisation seminars, and at the Arabian Travel Market in Dubai and Mediterranean Travel Fair in Cairo. He has also conducted public interviews with luminaries like Craig Barret of Intel and Narayana Murthy of Infosys on the entrepreneurship platform, as President of TiE Dubai.
