Before taking a career, leap and been appointed as Managing Director and Board Member in June 2014, Hesham had held progressively executive roles in the Commercial Division within ELSEWEDY ELECTRIC Group.

Prior joining ELSEWEDY ELECTRIC, he held senior technical and commercial positions in multi-national organizations in the field of Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management through which, he had contributed in the awarding and execution of mega power turn-key projects which gave him the edge to lead the company to be one of the leading multi-national EPC companies, design and build concept, in the MENA region and Africa.

In his current capacity; with his vision, technical and leadership skills and expertise, he drives the organization; through strategic leadership and continuous development, to reach the forefront of the industry, taking market share from competition while ensuring commitment to the highest environmental, safety and quality standards, with the ultimate goal to be part of our customers’ development plans; to build and enhance their infrastructure and be a real contributor to a world, where every person has the opportunity for a better life.

He highly believes that “Leadership is not a wielding authority – its empowering people” and to achieve long term success, we must be guided by values and take responsibilities of our actions.

Hesham had earned a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering in 2001 and completed his master’s degree in business administration at University of Warwick, UK in 2017.

Born in 1977, Hesham is married and has two children. He enjoys traveling, listening to music and playing tennis.
