From an early age on Melvin had the vision to make a positive impact on this planet. This is the reason why he has started his career as a sustainability consultant in The Netherlands right after his graduation. During his studies, he discovered what positive impact media and communication can have on our modern day society and how knowledge on sustainability topics and the media industry can strengthen each other greatly. Following his vision towards sustainability, he has joined his current employer whose main goal is to connect global innovations to the region and transform the seven emirates into sustainability-driven destinations. They research, select, represent, accelerate, raise funds and connect innovation technologies to their network in the United Arab Emirates. Their innovative approach in combining networking, media and business development offers unique opportunities to expand rapidly within the Middle East. In combination with strong communication and management skills, Melvin strives to deliver work that results in a valuable contribution to the realisation of sustainable projects. In order to enhance his personal and professional development, he proactively seeks new challenges and continuously demonstrate an undisputed will to succeed. During the Annual Sustainable Development Congress Week, Melvin will tell the audience about one of the latest innovation that Globally Connected Companies is representing in the United Arab Emirates, it is called PowerNEST.
